CEO Anticipates Key Role for New Executives in Driving Impact
Two major appointments have been made at Cogitate Technology Solutions, a supplier of cloud-native solutions for P&C insurers and DUAEs.
Siddharth Kotwal has been promoted to the position of senior vice president of delivery and quality, and Niraj Trivedi has been named the company’s chief architect.
More than 30 years into his career, Trivedi has held positions as diverse as technology architect and chief technology officer of Majesco. At Majesco, he was responsible for the management and growth of P&C technology platforms, such as the company’s move to SaaS and the development of an API-first architecture.
Trivedi’s primary duty in his new position will be to drive product innovation and development, with an emphasis on speeding up the P&C industry’s fundamental platform implementations through the use of low-code/no-Code solutions.
“Cogitate is a rapidly expanding company, helmed by a group of individuals with deep expertise in the insurance sector,” Trivedi remarked. In their own words: “They have a strong, serious passion and desire to improve solutions for the industry, and that attracted me to the role.”
Kotwal has worked for tier 1–4 carriers as a product delivery manager, service specialist, and client manager for the past 20 years. Kotwal was the vice president of product delivery at Majesco before he joined Cogitate. Kotwal will play a crucial part in scaling and managing new and ongoing implementations as Cogitate enters its next phase of expansion.
A key factor in Kotwal’s decision to join Cogitate was the company’s culture, which he found “resonant.” He also saw an opportunity to aid in the company’s upward trajectory and help it capitalise on its current wave of success.
Cogitate’s co-founder and CEO, Arvind Kaushal, is overjoyed to welcome Niraj and Sid to the team. Cogitate’s DigitalEdge platform development and distribution will be significantly influenced by them. For some carrier and DUAE markets, we will continue to prioritise solutions that go beyond mere speed to market in order to deliver sustainable core platforms with rapid ecosystem integration.
