An American education is extremely in-demand all over the world. There are plenty of reasons for that: a strong job market, a focus on innovation, and an emphasis on critical thinking are just a few. But there’s a very big barrier to getting into many U.S. universities: you have to get in! University of Texas at Austin

As the second-largest state in the US, with a population of 28.5 million people, Texas is home to several world-class universities such as UT Austin, which boasts an acceptance rate of 42 percent for international students.

While you may be able to get your bachelor’s degree from Penn State at a lower cost than in-person tuition prices at other schools—and without having to leave your home country—the tradeoff is that you’ll have to do all your coursework online through the school’s World Campus program instead of attending classes on campus with other students or taking them online via edX (like Coursera does).
