Mitt Admission FAQ

Application requirements

Before you begin completing your MITT application, you should know what the admission requirements are. MITT’s campuses are located in suburban communities that are safe and convenient. You can find information about payment methods and the application requirements online. Please remember to review these details carefully before beginning the application process. Once you have completed the application process, you will need to submit documents to support your application. Some documents you will need include transcripts or proof of English language proficiency.

You must provide all of your supporting documentation in English. MITT will only process applications that are complete and include all of the required information and documents. Original documents and scans of documents are required. The MITT requires at least six weeks to review all applications. You must submit these documents by the deadline of the 14th calendar day. If you do not submit the required documents on time, you may experience delays with processing. Once you have completed all of the application requirements, you will be notified of the outcome of the application.

To apply to MITT, you must have a minimum two-year undergraduate diploma and a high school GPA of 50.0% or higher. The MITT is closed on weekends and holidays. The college provides two intakes a year. International applicants should apply for the September 2022 intake. However, if you are applying from another country, you should check MITT’s Agent Change Policy to be sure that you meet the requirements.

Applicants from outside Canada must have a valid Canadian study permit or the equivalent and be approved by the Visa Application Centre. The MITT’s study permit processing timeline is limited by IRCC policies. If you missed the deadline for your study permit, MITT will automatically withdraw you from the program. You can review your MITT application and see what documents you missed or needed to complete your application. You should also remember that your application fee is non-refundable.

To apply for MITT admission, you must have an acceptable English language proficiency test. Students who have completed this test will receive an initial placement. If you do not have a satisfactory score on the test, you should consider pursuing another program. MITT students can find employment in several sectors across the globe. Accommodation options

While living at a student residence is an ideal option for international students, it is not possible for everyone. The MITT College offers a unique Homestay program that includes a private room, three meals a day, and utilities. English Language Proficiency required

The MITT English Language Institute offers a diverse range of programs for all levels of English speakers. Small, culturally diverse classes make for a positive learning experience. English proficiency tests and an in-person placement test are accepted as proof of language proficiency. However, if you are interested in applying to a university without an English proficiency test, there are other options. You can choose from one of the three different programs MITT offers and apply for admission with either of these options.

To gain admission to MITT, you must first demonstrate proficiency in English. The school accepts tests of English language proficiency that have been certified by an accredited body. You must provide an official copy of your test scores for the admission process. Tests are taken more than two years before the anticipated start date are not accepted. In addition, you must have at least one year of experience working in a job related to your chosen field.

To demonstrate your English Language Proficiency, you must have completed an IELTS or a corresponding college course that requires the test. Applicants from countries where English is not the primary language must demonstrate English language proficiency with an IELTS or a corresponding course. In addition, students who have completed studies in English-speaking countries may qualify for a waiver if they have met the prerequisite English requirement through another means. If you do not have an official high school diploma, you can apply after grade 11. However, you will need to submit an interim transcript that shows you have completed the senior academic courses and current grades. If you are accepted, final official documents must be submitted at least 30 days before the start of your program. Applicants will not be formally admitted until they complete Grade 12 admission requirements. However, if you meet these requirements, you may qualify for early conditional admission.


Application fees must be paid for the Mitt admission process. You must also send scanned copies of your original documents and all necessary information to MITT. MITT considers an application complete once it receives all required information and all original documents. If you are unable to submit all of the necessary information by the due date, you can submit the application after a certain period. It takes 6-12 weeks for the application to be processed.

You must have a valid email address to receive the notification of acceptance. You should check your spam folder for any unsolicited mail. Your spam folder should be free of viruses. MITT does not share your personal information with any third party. In case your email address is hacked, it may not reach us. We strongly discourage this practice. We will not disclose your information without your explicit permission. Alternatively, you can contact us and request a refund.
